The Vitamin D Workshop

An international scientific meeting that focuses on the biology and health implications of Vitamin D.

GrasrootsHealth will attend and have an abstract and/or poster about the recommended methods for conducting research on vitamin D. We will present the importance of many criteria, but one of the most critical is to base outcomes on vitamin D serum levels, not dosage groups. Part of this discussion will be how to tailor the research, from the beginning, to focus on this outcome.

There will also be a poster/presentation about the preliminary results of the Protect our Children NOW! project at the Medical University of South Carolina and its impact on preterm births.
