Measure Your Vitamin D Level

Recent controversial events and resulting publicity surrounding vitamin D has led to much confusion among individuals who are not as educated about vitamin D as most of the followers and participants of GrassrootsHealth. With the release of the updated vitamin D guidelines by the Endocrine Society, which recommends a vitamin D intake of only 600 IU of vitamin D per day in general, and which suggest that vitamin D testing is unnecessary, followed by posts such as those released by Medscape (listed below), the resulting conversation among those who have a deeper understanding of vitamin D and/or who have experienced the difference vitamin D has made in their lives or their patients’ lives has been quite heated.

Because of this controversy and confusion, GrassrootsHealth, in partnership with the Orthomolecular Medicine News Service, has organized a series of upcoming presentations with the top vitamin D researchers and experts followed by a virtual forum, “Clearing Confusion Around Vitamin D; Vitamin D researchers respond to misguiding guidelines,” scheduled for Monday, September 30th at 7am PT.
